Where are your kanduras made?

Our kanduras are tailored in beautiful Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.


Is everything on your website custom made?

Yep, everything except our headwear, under wear, and accessories. It’s kind of our thing.


I just placed an order. Can I change the customizations?

Of course – if you’re quick on the draw. Just let us know within 24 hours; we start making your clothes after that and it’s too late to make changes.


Will you restock sold out items?

Pieces from our seasonal collections are limited edition, so get ‘em before they’re gone.


I have some ideas for a kandura, can you do a custom design for me?

Not at the moment, but maybe we can collaborate in the future.


Can I make customizations that are not on the website?

​Not at the moment, but we’d love to hear what you have in mind so we can make it happen in the future.


Are the kanduras dry clean only or can I machine-wash them?

​Most of our kanduras can be machine washed on a cold cycle and tumble dried on a low heat. To be safe, double-check the care instructions on the tag inside your shirt to make sure.  All wool products should be dry cleaned. All of our products sell with more specific care instructions, please refer to them.


Do you make kanduras for children?

​Yes!


How do I check my order status?

Log into your account and go to your order history or feel free to contact us by phone, email, or whatsapp.


Do the customizations cost extra?

Nope. There’s no such thing as a free lunch, but customizations are on the house.


Can I feel the fabric swatches before I order?

Absolutely, order you fabric book from here.



Measurements

In order to make the best kanduras possible, Meemo uses your body measurements to create a completely made to measure kandura that's meant to fit.

You'll be prompted to get measured once you're ready to checkout.

Once your order is placed, one of our master tailors can take your body measurements and create a made to measure garment just for you. Alternatively, you can simply send in your well-fitting kandura.



Do I need a tailor to take my measurements?

Not at all but we highly recommend it.  One of our tailors will visit you free of charge.  Alternatively, if you own a kandura which fits you perfectly, we can collect it and capture your measurements from there.  We’ll then send your kandura back to you.


Can I use the measurements from a kandura I own?

Yes! If you’re happy to do things that way, then so are we.


How do I ensure my measurements are accurate?

Follow our handy instructions and you can’t go wrong. That said, there’s a chance some of your kanduras won’t fit the way you want right out of the box; minor alterations might be needed. If that’s the case, we’ll cover the cost. We want to make sure you’re happy, so it’s a breeze if you order again in the future.  


Can I see my body measurements in my account profile?

Yes you can. Just log in and they will be right there.


Can I change the body measurements in my account profile?

If you need to update body measurements, please reach out to us and we are happy to help you.


Can I have multiple measurements on one account?

Yes, you can create profiles for family members and friends.


Payment & Inquiries

Meemo kanduras are made-to-order and delivered within 4-6 days via Aramex.

All Prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED).


Payment Safety

Meemo takes many active steps to ensure the absolute safety of your credit card and personal information. We process all credit card sales via a fully secured and reputable third party payment processor and do NOT keep full credit card information on record.


What payment methods do you accept?

Visa and Mastercard.


What currency is used for transactions?

We currently only accept payments in UAE Dirhams (AED).


Will there be sales tax on my order?

Nope.


Do you have gift cards?

Not yet, but we’re working on it.


Can I use two coupons at once?

No, you can’t use two coupons at once.


Shipping

How long will it take to receive my order?

Delivery will be in 4-6 days.


How will my order be shipped?

Aramex. We’ll email you tracking info when your order ships.


How much is shipping?

Free on orders over AED 250. Otherwise, AED 25.


Will I have to pay extra customs charges?

Prices reflected on meemo.com include shipping charges and any duty/customs charges within United Arab Emirates unless expressly stated otherwise. Additional charges may apply for duty and/or customs for addresses outside of the United Arab Emirates and are the sole responsibility of the receiver.


What countries do you ship to?

We currently only ship to select areas of the UAE but we will be extending this service to cover more areas and countries soon.


Do you ship to P.O. boxes?

Shipments are delivered to a physical address.  We currently do not ship to P.O. Boxes.


How do I change my shipping address?

Does Aramex require a signature on delivery?

Yep. They’re fancy that way.


Can I rush my order?

Unfortunately, no. You can’t rush greatness.


Where is your head office?

Meemo HQ is located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.


Will I have to pay taxes?

Depending on where you ship to or if you change your shipping destination, you may be required to pay additional taxes or duties based on the taxation requirements of the destination.


Alterations & Returns

What if my kandura doesn’t fit?

Ensuring the perfect fit is our priority. We stand by our quality and craftsmanship, which is why if your Meemo kandura does not fit how you want it to, we will happily cover the alteration costs. Need major adjustments? We’ll make you a new kandura from scratch. Still not quite right? We’ll give you a full refund on non-altered kanduras. All totally free of charge. No questions. No fuss. Just let us know by emailing hello@meemo.com and we’ll get in touch to put things right.


How long does it take to receive my altered kandura back?

We’ll aim to get your altered kandura back to you with 2-4 days of receiving it.


How should I return my order?

First, notify us by phone or email that you’d like to return your kandura. We’ll arrange for Aramex to collect it from your home or office, at no expense to you.


What type of packaging should I use to return?

The smaller the box, the better; no need to use the original packaging. Let’s be good to the environment.


If the remake doesn’t fit, what options do I have?

First of all, your patience has been legendary. We’re in this together, and we’re almost there. We’re willing to give it another shot to get it right if you are. If not, we’ll give you a full refund and hope we can still be friends.
